Victims lose $10.4m in non-bank phishing scams from Jan to Oct

SINGAPORE – A 54-year-old woman is now hoping that she can recover her savings after she fell victim to a phishing scam last Saturday (Nov 27).

Ms Yeo, who declined to give her full name, told The Straits Times that she bought $12 worth of items on e-commerce platform Shopee.
